Despite his influence, Quintero’s career was marred by violence and accusations of murder. He was implicated in the infamous 1985 murder of DEA agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, which sparked a diplomatic crisis between Mexico and the United States. Quintero was eventually convicted and sentenced to prison, but his legacy remains highly controversial.

The Inspire Obey Rafael Caro Quintero shirt has become a popular fashion item among those who are fascinated by the drug kingpin’s legend. The shirt’s bold imagery and provocative message are intended to evoke a sense of admiration and awe for Quintero’s charismatic personality. However, it also raises questions about the ethics of glorifying a figure with a violent past.
