Thanks for sharing this OP, agreed Lufthansa sucks big time. Sorry to hear abut your experience and hope the Inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame rick barry bold T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this little one id enjoying his/her first India trip. Congrats on being a parent BTW. I usually don’t care about the subtle, passive racism anymore – but it was so evident and humiliating once when I flew along with a White friend and we were sitting next to each other – the whole flight I could totally see the way they treated him vs me. Nothing that triggering but small things like making faces, rolling eyes when I’d request for something and on the other hand being all smiley and happy when he’d ask something – and his requests were many more that day as he was very unwell. You never really forget how they make you feel right?

One time, I asked them for some help as my friend (same White guy) was having a health issue, the Inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame rick barry bold T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this cabin crew made a face like I was being an unreasonable needy flier and as soon as my friend started to talk to her – she totally flipped to happy, service-oriented self. That was so weird to experience. My friend even said “dude WTF is wrong here, why is she so rude with you?” I told him “no shit Sherlock, this is how racism feels like”. And I checked with my friend, language wasn’t an issue at all there. Also Like I’d understand if my friend was a German and they wanted to be extra friendly with their fellow countrymen but that wasn’t the case either. Friend was so triggered telling me “how can you accept this, you should make a scene”. I wasn’t keen then, but we noted their names and wrote Lufthansa a complaint later. And received some long ass standard response.
