Poor, overqualified (or rather, misqualified for the In my defense i was left unsupervised skull witch shirt and by the same token and modern world), intelligent, angry, theoretically environmentalist, resilient, thrifty ‘”Theoretically environmentalist” is a good one – most fellow millenials pretend they care but wouldn’t be seen dead at a protest and think nothing of jumping on a plane every few weeks Lmao I know, everyone is saying completely different things, all of which do not match with my own perception of the world. I hate being labelled as Gen Z, because I don’t act at all like how they are meant to. I feel much more at home with Millenials, Gen X, and Boomers than I do Gen Z. Supposedly I’m old before my time, I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing. I’m 26 and I’ve occasionally been labelled as a Boomer in a Gen Z body

In my defense i was left unsupervised skull witch shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

You probably act like a normal gen z person and don’t see yourself in the In my defense i was left unsupervised skull witch shirt and by the same token and made up media portrayal of gen z then. I used to say this about being a millenial, then I spent loads of time around other millenials and realised “hang on, I’m normal. It’s the media lying about what normal is.” I’m the same age and feel exactly the same! We’re right on the cusp between gen z and millennials and I’ve always felt more comfortable ‘aging up’ with friends haha Purely anecdotally, I have found that millennials are less career focused than Gen Z. Or at least less competitive in this regard. Millennials seem to lack as much ideological diversity than Gen Z. I’d guess the buzzfeed era impacted the culture and encouraged everyone to share the same opinions. Also anecdotally, this could be because we were never prepared for just how competitive EVERYTHING has become, especially work. I’m a true geriatric millennial. Was born in 1981. Apparently that was the beginning of the millenial “era”. Whoever decides that….no idea. So I’m on the cusp apparently. Probably explains why I don’t do social media and 🫤 when my niece or nephew send me tiktok vids.
