The campaign aims to create a society that protects and values all seniors, regardless of age or ability.

Elder abuse is a serious issue affecting millions of Americans annually. It can manifest in various forms, including physical, emotional, financial, and neglect. Victims of elder abuse often experience feelings of isolation, shame, and fear. They may be hesitant to report the abuse due to fear of retaliation or disbelief. In June We Wear Purple works to break down these barriers by providing resources, support, and education to both victims and the general public.
