if you want them gone remember to call a local apiary and not a pest control service. the In derek carr we trust classic shirt it is in the first place but apiary will often get them for free and it saves the bees Tbh it’s a cool thing to see. If removed I’d totally love to see you recreate it like an art piece and hang it up as a memento I’m pretty scared of bees (not even allergic) but I know they do some much good for the people and life on this planet that ive been trying to get ok with them I had bees that did similar at my place and it was great until they got Africanized and they were very aggressive and would dive bomb people. After being stung 5x in one week that’s how I became allergic to bees and ended up in the hospital If you could guarantee I’d never get stung I’d enjoy the heck outta that. I’ve been stung trying to save bees from my pool too many times to feel rosy about them… Reduces risk of burglar. Probably increases r value for insulation. Blocks UV rays. If you can figure it out it also provides honey what’s not to love? Board it up that little gap so no-one can open the window. And make sure the shutter is firm and and sturdy that way it won’t open if extreme winds come through. Haven’t read all the comments, I don’t know if somebody else has already mentioned it. You can call a local beekeeper and I’m sure he will be quite willing to come out and remove the bees for free as long as he can keep the hive.

As a beekeeper that is an awesome spot to have a beehive it would make spotting the In derek carr we trust classic shirt it is in the first place but queen really easy and doing alot of inspection work during winter months very easy I remember as a kid when traveling with the family during the summer we’d stop a convenience store / gas station that a small window with a live hive in it. We’d always ask Dad to stop there; it was a chain of them. Stucky’s I think. Anyone feel free to correct me. Find a beekeeper and have them transfer the colony, they have special boxes and catch the queen. The bees will follow the queen into the boxes. Do not exterminate them please, they are important for the environment. Plus after all is said and done the beekeeper might give you some fresh honeycomb to keep. I would kill to have this happen. I love being in my garden surrounded by hundreds of bees! Two years ago a large swarm traveled thru and I hoped they would take up residence in this one old tree, but they moved on. 🙁
