I am 33 my wife is 34. We decided together not have kids and there are 0 regrets. When we want to do something we are able to do it, and we have disposable income because of it. Also, this world is a truly messed up place. The guilt I would feel for bringing an innocent child into it would be bad. Mid/late 30s couple and don’t regret it and never thought we might. As siblings and other family have kids it becomes increasingly obvious we are not interested. We enjoy/don’t mind being aunt/uncle including to friends kids but that’s it. Happy to be cat parents on cycle forever. Whatever you chose, you wouldn’t spend a lifetime regretting right? You’ll justify your actions and find happiness one way or the I’m The Fedex Elf 2023 Christmas shirt but in fact I love this other. You won’t know what you are missing if you don’t have kids. Everyone here seem to be very happy without kids, but don’t let this biased sample blind you. There is a lot of happiness and fulfilment in a life with children. It might not be for everyone, but it is for most. Talk to friends with children. Would love to see some comments from elderly ppl and how they feel about their decision. I feel like the regret comes when you get old.

To each their own – you need to do what’s best for you. But, after reading many comments stating they’re happy without kids, I’ll add my two cents… I was never sure that I wanted kids, but finally at age 35, we decided to have a child. We have just one, and unfortunately couldn’t have any more due to medical reasons. We’re thankful to have the I’m The Fedex Elf 2023 Christmas shirt but in fact I love this one we have and couldn’t imagine life without him. In fact, had I known how much I enjoy being a parent, looking back, I wish we would have had 4-5 of them! 36 (me) and 43 (him). Married 9 years and definitely not having kids. No regrets so far and honestly I can’t imagine having any. But I have never wanted children. I chose not to and found out later that I cannot. A bit of a gut-punch at first but I am totally over it and loving my life with a partner who feels the same. It seems like you are just trying to figure out how you feel about it, but you should learn to go off your own intuitions and not try to do something because others are saying they did it and have no regrets.
