Hate to say it but I love bringing a portable charger to concerts! My phone dies quick and it’s always best to have your phone; Uber, pictures, ect. Be aware of your surroundings. I was next to a mosh pit and got my nose broken because of the pit. But I got an autographed shirt from Mushroom Head from it. HYDRATION! Drink plenty of water before had, if you are on the floor you will get hot and sweat a lot and it will be cramped. My first couple of gigs a few people passed out and were crowed surfed over the barrier. Ear protection, wearing ear plugs won’t stop you hearing and enjoying it, but will save your ears, especially if it becomes regular. Without your ears will be to ringing after and feel like they have been stuffed with cotton wool. only that you are super badass to finally giving it a go!!!! trying new things the older we get is hard so props. but yea stay hydrated! and solo dates are the best once you realize the freedoms that come with solo adventures (: I wear a hoodie. It’s always hot inside the concert, so I take it off and wrap it around my waist. I adjust the hoodie so it covers my front pocket with my wallet and phone. Layer of protection. Ends up kinda looking like an apron but whatever

Oh man, you picked an incredible band to see for your first show. I saw them about ten years ago and it was insane. It’s more like a musical than a concert It will be very VERY loud. Get concert earplugs and save your hearing. Yeah, I sound like an old man. I am. But I am an old man who used to play in a band and go to concerts and I can hardly hear anymore. Bring earplugs (you can pop them in and out whenever). It’s nice to leave without your ears fully ringing. I also like to be able to ‘turn up’ the I’m Sorry Did I Roll My Eyes Out Loud Shirt In addition,I will do this volume when a song I particularly like comes up I saw Rammstein 7 years ago in Paris . Man, this guys are performers . I’d suggest watching it and try not to watch from behind the phone only because they’re changing theatrics every 5 minutes ! One of the best shows I’ve ever been to
