I took it as branded glasses initially but yeah those Belgian beers have some fine looking glasses and shapes. Even in the US, if you order draft Stella Artois, it usually comes in it’s own elegant stemmed glass, while all the other beers come in an ordinary beer glass. Same whenever I hear people say Heineken is amazing. Heineken is a marketing company masquerading as a beer brand. Belgian beer is great but there also is plenty of good Dutch beer (La Trappe, ‘t IJ, Texels.).
