I tend to leave cream products open while doing my makeup and they end up getting bits of dust and stuff stuck to the I’m grumpy deal with it disney shirt In addition,I will do this top layer so I do this too! I wash my hands and use my fingers to apply most of my makeup and skincare. I am religious about cross contamination too (OCD for germs). Seems to work OK for me. Elf makes a brush that has a paddle on the opposite end for scooping products out. I use it to apply Elf’s Primer Putty I have to say, I am super impressed with Elf. I (48) and my daughter (14) use mostly their products. I used to buy more expensive things and except for maybe a foundation I had, I don’t see any big difference in quality. Everything I’ve tried I’ve really loved. I recently started using their sunscreen and I love it! I live in Florida and am always playing golf so I have to be covered and this gives great protection and a nice little glow as well as covers my pores!

My skin is fairly normal type but I do get oily in the I’m grumpy deal with it disney shirt In addition,I will do this T Zone sometimes, especially if I’m sweating. The sunscreen is weird in that it’s almost a matte finish, but it gives just a very slight glow. My daughter (14) has super oily skin and she started using it and likes it. We had both been using the Trader Joe’s one that’s like a primer and that one made her skin way too oily. It just didn’t really sit right on her skin. Lol no I don’t scrape off product. I just use reasonably clean fingers. I’ve even still got and use a drugstore cream blush from over a decade ago. It still has the exact same consistency, appearance and smell as the same day I bought it on clearance, many years ago. Ime only the “clean” makeups really go bad. There are so many preservatives in regular makeup, specifically to maintain quality. This includes preventing bacterial growth.
