I stupidly opened my relationship with my ex when things started going south between us. NEVER AGAIN! If there was anything left to salvage we destroyed it in a few weeks through jaleousy, no matter what we were pretending. I don’t think you can easily open a monogamous relationship. As someone who gets jealous easily I would rather just end the relationship than allow something like that to happen Upside, they asked first, but downside is a sign they are planning on or are already unfaithful and trying to reconcile it with themselves. They’ve partly checked out of the relationship already, and unless you’re 100% up for downgrading your partner to “convenient, with benefits”, it’s a sign that you might want to look at ending this and move on with life. Leave, unless that’s something you’re ok with. Mr personally I would never share my SO and if they even asked I’d take it as an insult/they’re sexually greedy which would be a deal breaker anyways
