I turned around and walked out with the RA and we went back to the dorms. I fell asleep that night with my headphones blasting the beat I had come to love smiling so big, knowing I would always remember that day as one of the best days of my life.

On the aforementioned day in question I know exactly the song I listened to and I know exactly what it said on my home made cassette tape of all the songs I dubbed off the radio. My mom would go through my CDs and store bought tapes but the dubbed ones she didn’t know what they were. And sometimes I would write shit like “Gospel Hits” She never broke those even though they were full of hip hop. On this particular tape the intro said, “Yeaaaaaah, you’re listenin to Hot 103 Jamz, don’t forget to slam that Z! Next up let’s hear it for Paperboy and the Ditty!”Dude this reads beautifully!
