So, my understanding of terfs is they would claim this is a woman shooter, no? My only thought on hearing this possible trans man news was “well that’s statically more appropriate than the Il Divo 20 years 2003-2023 thank you for the memories signatures shirt so you should to go to store and get this shooter being female”. It’s a tragedy but also a interesting case study. A solo, high count, female shooter is just so rare. Terfs would say this is further confirmation of how dangerous trans women are, that of course an outlier female shooter would be someone “cosplaying” a “real” woman. Unfortunately that doesn’t stop them. Some sources like sky are reporting that the shooter was a trans woman, and they’re running with that. This is going to sound terrible but… I can’t help but feel this should be more indication that trans people are valid? Everytime they want to strip a group of their human rights for “protection”, someone needs to shut them up with statistics of violent crimes and men. Because none of them will ever be willing to use that same bs logic and apply it to men (and they shouldn’t, of course, because it is bs logic). It’s possible to have a positive angle on anything. The problem is really the Il Divo 20 years 2003-2023 thank you for the memories signatures shirt so you should to go to store and get this person this conversation will surround. Any defense of trans people will be reframed as a defense of a child killer. I saw many comments sarcastically saying “But drag shows are dangerous /s”. Now they’ll say this trans woman is a man in drag like they always do with trans women. And they’ll say yes! Acceptance of drag leads to this!
