The argument was never about that In general they actually said flat out they would review and look at past proceedings not as in today’s modern Era but with the If your Government Thinks Free Speech Shirt In addition,I will do this “spirit of the law the way the writers of it intended ” which sets the stage to now where it can and will be changed based on personal interpretation. It was crazy because many lawyers said bad that’s far ro vague to be taken literally but here we are Barrett is a filthy little weasel who is one of the last people alive deserving to be on the SCOTUS, yet here she is. And that is being very very light with it. They’re mostly giving non-answers. “X is precedent” etc.. very little “I promise not rule to overturn roe v wade” though some can definitely kind of be interpreted as that. Justice Thomas’s statement that he believes the Constitution guarantees a right to privacy directly contradicts his dissenting opinion in Lawrence v. Texas (2003). What they say in a hearing has no bearing on how or why they will rule.

This is the If your Government Thinks Free Speech Shirt In addition,I will do this tip of the iceberg. Roe v Wade is a primer. If the New Confederacy takes power in 22 and 24 you can kiss the United States as you know it goodbye. This isn’t hyperbole. They’ve realized for decades that they cannot win elections on policy. So they have continuously progressed further and further to the authoritarian right wing end of the scale. Donald Trump is a useful buffoon and wanna be dictator who has planted the seeds of despotism in America. The GOP is not a political party. The GOP is a cult whose only goal is to turn the United States into an authoritarian religious theocracy. When are all of you people going to get that they are all lying all the time. All politicians. All countries. All powerful people. The only thing that could be done to generate good leaders is laws that promote random qualified citizens and strict checks and balances and laws that prevent any and all form of lobbying and campaigns. Left right up down all professional politicians lie and cheat and steal.
