Lived in Bakersfield, CA worked for the If you don’t like Boston Red Sox merry kissmyass santa claus shirt But I will love this only place willing to hire me out of college. I moved down to LA the second I got a job in my field. Just be extremely professional on your way out. Give as much notice as possible and keep your work performance up. Going to the beach city on a holiday or short term stay is vastly different from living there long term. Everything you are dealing with in your current city will end up being in that city. But if you want to move you should as long as you get a job that you can support yourself with. It is absolutely foolish to quit you job and move to a city without another one already lined up.
