For each of us, there are some things that a partner may do that provoke a strong reaction, but these things vary. A partner eating meat may cause a vegan to be appalled, someone working on the Ichiro Retro Colors shirt But I will love this sabbath would be an outrage to others, I have a friend who left their partner because they couldn’t live with the fact they looked at porn sometimes. There are lots of pressures on relationships, if someone is not troubled by the actions of their partner, let’s celebrate and move on. Not a thing. i was overseas and came back that mine was cheating. i went to base housing and moved back into the barracks and she was sent packing out of housing. Congrats you married a slut, you’re a cuck, and you’re not even going to retaliate. The least you could do is get a free cheatpass for you out of it. She won and will cheat again.

Sounds like you’ve got some misogyny/homophobia to unpack – it’s not uncommon for people to take wlw less seriously bc idk love between women isn’t real?? No clue it’s a shit thought process but a common one I agree. My initial thoughts is that I wouldn’t really call it homophobic primarily. Probably more misogynist first and homophobic second. He’d probably feel that his male best friend hooking up with a guy was VERY serious and obviously meant he was gay. Kind of a stretch but I get it. OP literally said he’d divorce her if she was cheating with a man??? What in the Ichiro Retro Colors shirt But I will love this double standard I’m honestly a bit surprised to see this reaction in so many comments. I posted this up above somewhere, but I suppose I’ll add it here too. It comes down to our natural biological instincts and the uncertainty of paternity. We have very strong natural instincts telling us to keep other men away from our mate, but those same instincts generally don’t apply to other women. Without the overwhelming revulsion and emotional shock generated by those instincts, you’re pretty much just left with the rational/logical reasons for being upset in this situation.. and while those are absolutely important, they don’t hit nearly as hard on an emotional level. Imagine you’ve got a phobia. Say, spiders. Most people don’t like spiders. If I surprise you with a picture of a spider, a big nasty one.. and all close in so you can see details you definitely did not want to see.. well, you’d probably react quite viscerally to that. Crawling skin, existential dread, that sort of thing?
