Just started reading “The Ministry for the I work at wendy’s I don’t need anger management I just need people to stop pissing me off baby yoda shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this Future” Even though it’s sci-fi Chapter 1is already happening in real life. We had heatwaves last summer here in Canada and I was in a main floor apartment with now A/C unit. Thankful to be in a basement apartment this year. Already building up a supply of drinking water I enjoy a sauna when the temp is around 155-165 F. But I can only stand that for 15-20 minutes. Beyond that time in that kind of heat and I would be ready to just give up. Where I’m from it gets hot AF, for long periods of time. How if fighting this today with every resource we have not on everyone’s agenda. All my friends who have kids just…. don’t care…. and I sit there thinking how fubar it’s going to be in like 10 years time…. let alone when I’m old / dead and your children are taking over what we’ve left behind.

I live in AZ where temps are regularly above 110 F so I was like “psh. Can’t be that bad.” Then I saw 120F / 50C in April and NO A/C! Those poor people. It gets HOT here but that’s insane. I’ve only experienced 120 once in my life (Havasu) and it was horrible and we were on the I work at wendy’s I don’t need anger management I just need people to stop pissing me off baby yoda shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this lake. I can’t imagine living in that heat and India is dealing with coal shortage and has highly irregular supply of electricity obviously varying from state to state For those wondering, steam and infrared saunas that you can buy/set up yourself usually don’t get muchhotter than 50C. Only Finnish-style saunas do. So these people are living in near-literal sauna conditions. Many without endless access to clean drinking water.
