When I hear “fiscally conservative” I think “oh you have non-variable loans, and don’t invest in anything mildly risky” I’ve said that, and i feel people should live their lives how they choose as long as they don’t hinder anyone else. And our taxes should be used for the I wish i was in florida T-Shirt and by the same token and benefit of the country. Not tax write off or grants to private businesses that turn those savings around and exploit the general public. So no, not really. I believe these ideals heavily. I think we need to be spending our tax money wisely and look to ensure that our budgets are always balanced and debt is minimal, dependent on its cost. We should also minimize tax rates by making sure everyone is paying their share, corporations included. The money that we do have needs to be going towards taking care of our people directly. Education, healthcare, infrastructure, and defense (a spot where we can make some cuts) are really what our focus should be. Give everyone the opportunity to have a consistent, solid foundation as well as simple needs met. Give everyone the same opportunity to start from or to at least have.

I want people to have free Medicare for all, have a corporate windfalls tax and have a strong military. I must be a cyborg. None of these three things can coexist. EVERYONE is “fiscally conservative.” There is no one advocating for no budget, overspending on everything, and bankrupting the I wish i was in florida T-Shirt and by the same token and country. Lol yup let’s continue to hate on people for trying to find a middle ground between the two political extremes. God I fucking hate all of you dumbass people who think they’re holier than thou because they vote democratic
