I would also think your friends at the I watch 40-60 screaming kids in a mirror while driving bus T-Shirt and by the same token and Anti-defamation League which you SERVE ON THE BOARD OF ADVISORS would reconsider your continued involvement there after breaking equal opportunity law for race discrimination. I mean, just posting this in itself shows you are too ignorant to be competent enough to advise anyone. You are the CEO of one of the largest and important websites in the world. You could have gone about this IN SO MANY BETTER WAYS than this. You really put the cart before the horse here and tried to score a massive PR goal before you even achieved it. This is just, insanely arrogant and stupid. You say in your own post that “actions speak louder than words” and you just completely fucked yourself by trying to praise your own future actions with words instead of just intelligently taking the action to benefit Reddit and the community.

I bet you haven’t even thought about how now that you have 100% confirmed race is a BIG factor in why this person got the I watch 40-60 screaming kids in a mirror while driving bus T-Shirt and by the same token and job how it will actually affect them? “Tokenization” and “Stereotypical threat” seem to be words people use to describe their negative experiences of being a deliberate diversity hire. They can feel like they only got the job because of their race or gender etc. and then if they under perform they open themselves up to all kinds of scrutiny and apparently that SUCKS for them. You aren’t even thinking about the people you are trying to help by being inclusive. I mean, there is no other way to read your statement as anything other than “We are prioritizing our PR optics” instead of what I’m sure you actually want to achieve with inclusiveness.
