I quit drinking and it took a while for folks to come around and you’ll have those people who push or ask why and they’re difficult to deal with but you’ll learn tricks. I just don’t make a deal out of it and move on. Weirdly, people tend to be more cool with that than if you say “I don’t drink”. Which always ends up starting the conversation you don’t want to have and ends with them saying “oh go on, just one shot”.
