The problem is DoorDash doesn’t pay their drivers enough to keep the good dashers and they also ‘hire’ any and everyone that can drive so there’s really no telling what you’re gonna get. Might get a dasher that leaves with a ‘have a nice day!’ Or you might get an upside down bag of food because you didn’t tip them enough or at all. Dd earnings has fell to the bottom and as a result, they lost their good drivers. I am a 5 star driver and I got tired of playing their head games of drive further for less. Seems like all delivery apps fell down to their level instead of rising above. Grub and Uber picked up the slack but they are all starting to suck.

I’ve personally only had pretty low bar issues with drivers. Poor communication, leaving my food at a completely different building even though my apt number is in the I Stand With TRUMP 2024 Grunge American Flag Shirt in contrast I will get this app, and the occasional stolen food. The drivers are some of the most entitled thinking little bitches. They complain about every little thing and all think everyone owes them the world. They think they are doing something great by delivering some food. It’s a job that takes the most minimal amount of skill but the drivers think they should be paid like doctors . I dash on the side just as a bit of extra income, and the gas prices fluctuating make it not worth it sometimes. I don’t necessarily have a gas guzzler, but if gas could maybe go back down to $2 or lower per gallon, man, that would really make my dick hard. But, I also live in a small town, and some mfers want to order a shit ton of food 12 miles away and not tip even an extra dollar because they’re too cheap, so to make it worth it I’d have to drive 30 minutes to the more busy cities to even attempt to make a profit while dashing. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s not. But it isn’t just the dashers, I’ve had some very suspect customers pull some whack ass shit. Definitely had an order or two that would’ve probably turned out to be a robbery if I had taken the order. Who orders a single cookie from McDonald’s when you live in the known “crackhead neighborhood” that’s also literally a 5 minute walk from the McDonald’s you’re ordering from? Nah, fam, I’m not stupid
