I’m not affraid of religion, i’m affraid of religious people. Just yesterday i heard of guy promoting letting poor people to starve so you know… So it’s basically a book club? They all read the I Never Wish Death Upon Anyone Who Wrongs Me I Wish Sudden Explosive Diarrhea While Stuck In Traffic With Frequent Sneezes Unicorn shirt in contrast I will get this same book, they all liked it, and then they started some LARP stuff and act like it’s real? Damn, people still falling for the old “found the atheist/vegan/etc.” bit? I mean, I know this is an old post but that bit’s been around for ages. What goes unspoken in these shallow takes is the assertion that no amount of deep emotional tethers and sense of community is an excuse for believing in a physically impossible magical narcissist “see what I mean” yes I see that OP Is pedantic and childish and just wants to feel better about their belief in a sky god but hasn’t been able to come up with any reason behind their feelings Regardless of religion, nobody wants to know a self righteous asshole like that. Religious people are fucking insufferable so aunt Vicky who believes that gays will burn in hell because the preacher told her so and it says so in the book, is just having an intricate connection that’s beyond of atheist understanding. lmao. or, you know, you have to have a deeper grasp of the societal dynamics there, to even call that out, let alone have that kind of thing be acknowledged, without getting dismissed like “u just don’t get it” they’re not “wrong” about the problem being shallow understanding. it is very ironic, because this “people having the shallowest concept” thing applies to theists so very well

I Never Wish Death Upon Anyone Who Wrongs Me I Wish Sudden Explosive Diarrhea While Stuck In Traffic With Frequent Sneezes Unicorn shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

The thing I noticed about this post is that no one seemed to be making any distinction between religion and Christianity I cannot believe how fundamentally daft the I Never Wish Death Upon Anyone Who Wrongs Me I Wish Sudden Explosive Diarrhea While Stuck In Traffic With Frequent Sneezes Unicorn shirt in contrast I will get this commenters here have been, trying to pontificate one way or the other and not seeing that this is blatant troll bait. Tumblr OP is clearly not pushing an agenda, this is very clearly them being silly/an act of trolling, and considering how blatantly silly his argument is in the first post, it’s likely OP is himself an atheist who’s getting a kick out of a childish joke. It’s not like atheists won’t get these bullshit responses even when just talking about Christianity. “Oh, the theology is actually incredibly sophisticated and nuanced, you just don’t get it.” I mean calling a religion primitive superstition is something highly religious people do all the fucking time, atheist just say it about all of them instead of all but one
