I think that quitting works differently for different people, my experience is that if you try to reduce usage you’ll always find yourself coming back for it. Stopping it all and building a meditation habit can do wonders 🙂 Congrats on your giving up the I may look cute but I am dangerous T-Shirt and I love this plant (I also did and feel awesome) and on your starting your meditation journey. Go slowly, be patient, keep hungry about it, read about it, sit every day (even 5 daily minutes is a lot better than 0) and beware of frustration: we all have intrusive thoughts. Use the distractions as part of the meditation, gently going back to the object of focus, and with time they will cease to be distractions. Hey good luck with the quitting. It took me a few tries after years of smoking. Took me about 3 months to get in the clear. The first month is hard and seemed impossible to feel normal without it. Now I don’t need it at all, but still miss the feeling occasionally. But I know I can’t do moderation.

I hope that everyday of your recovery would be full of confidence, self-discovery, and warmth Good on you I also stopped smoking over 3 months ago now after years of using it to relax and avoid all the I may look cute but I am dangerous T-Shirt and I love this stress of life and feelings inside of me. I don’t know how long you have used it but it can be kind of hard for a couple of weeks after you stop – sleeping got better with time for me. Sometimes it’s difficult to deal with stuff that comes up but during meditation you give your body a chance to speak and I have cried many times while meditating. I’ve also felt super relaxed after, sad, happy, annoyed, same as when I started…all of it. With regular practice you teach your nervous system to calm down, if you are dealing with ASD that would be probably super usefull.
