By separate it from yourself, I mean tell the difference between “I feel low” and “there is a low feeling here, that comes and goes separately from myself and is not part of my core self.” If you’re not confident meditation is right for you, doing it will definitely be problematic. Have you tried yoga or Tai chi? Oh cool! We all need to find our “spiritual” fit, in my opinion. These activities are all potentially meditation, but I know some folks love some and hate the others. LO is 17 weeks old tomorrow and wow have things changed. Looking back when we were in the first weeks (esp 6-9) I felt like I just wanted give up and cry everyday. My baby finally started really noticing the world around her. She smiles and babbles and just seems generally happier. Watching her discover her feet and learn to grasp things has been such a joy. I just wanted to say things really do get better and faster than you’d expect. When I was in the thick of it in those beginning weeks I didn’t think I would make it to the next day. But my baby is almost 4 months old and it feels like that time was ages ago already. Don’t get me wrong we still have some bad days and nights but the time with her is so much more rewarding now with her being less potato and more of a person haha.

I thought I was going to hate the I make weed disappear what’s your superpower shirt Additionally,I will love this choice of a parent because of the newborn stage but now I look forward to this gummy goofy smile everyday. I couldn’t agree more ?? My sweet girl just turned 4 months on 3/21 & she’s the absolute best The first few weeks were a blur to me & I really felt like wtf ? I now have a ton of sympathy for parents in the newborn stage whether they’re first timers or not. It’s not easy & it’s so hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel but once you find even a glimpse of brightness the darkness goes away & everything changes for the better. My daughter just turned 6months and I would say the 4th and 5th month were really a breeze. It’s like they are giving us a much needed break after all the hard work! She could sleep more than 6hours every night, her feeds were set, no more colic, etc. 6+ months is a whole new game! Her vaccinations messed up her sleep cycle and she is getting very active and we need to keep an eye on her always. So yeah, it’s all fun 😉 Growth spurts, developmental leaps, fussiness in general… A lot is happening with babies around those weeks. They grow they change, their brain is developing so fast and they are becoming more aware of what is going on around. It is a scary change for them. Also they are hungry! Haha
