-EDIT: A good way to find an SO is to follow your passions, and don’t expect people to understand them–people don’t all have the I make halloween scary frankenstein halloween scary monster classic shirt and by the same token and same passions. Understand there’s a time and a place to discuss them, and that time is when it comes up in conversation and when they still seem interested in talking about it. (Many) women like men who are passionate about what they are doing as a hobby (not just watching TV/video games, but doing more about it than consuming entertainment), and are doing it because they are passionate about it. -EDIT 2: JUST BEING A GOOD PERSON DOES NOT ENTITLE YOU TO THE WOMAN YOU FIND MOST ATTRACTIVE. For a long time I felt like dating was just about being a manipulative asshole because I saw that work for most dudes, but I realized that most women on which this works well aren’t much better and not worth my time. I had to put as much effort in finding the few decent women as I had to put in effort to find the few decent men. Honestly it’s super depressing but unfortunately most people are just garbage, regardless of gender, race or whatever else.
