I’ve started having drivers who will just circle my building, and not answer when I call. McDonald’s telling you to pull ahead while you sit for 20-30 minuteswatch 5 cars that ordered at the window get their food before you at certain stores. I record them the second they start clowning and being passive aggressive and I contact corporate and their area manager. I’ve done this job for 4 years. It takes a toll on you mentally in a way over time. In many ways I’ve become a better dasher though and my ratings are great unless I work in an ultra conservative area where they give me bad ratings because I dress alternative and they’re close-minded simpletons that think that their drivers facial piercings make them less worthy.

The biggest issue is that because of inflation and just everything being fucked, people in every state need to have an income between $58,300 to $95,700 a year to live comfortably. That isn’t even to kinda make it and have saving money necessarily. That’s to be comfortable and not face poverty and homelessness at this current point in time. DoorDash, UberEats, and GrubHub combined probably won’t net someone that much.
