I do think Marvel in the I Love My Country Up Loud Eagle America Flag Shirt Apart from…,I will love this critic-sphere is unfairly attacked and many critics come in with bad faith because they’ve reoriented their compass to “anything that isn’t Marvel is good, so therefor what Marvel turns into is also bad and anything like Marvel is bad” and it gets real fuckin annoying to see basic storytelling tools be attacked for being used only because Marvel also uses them. Ugh promised myself I was gonna stop seeing MCU in theatres after disliking NWH but the prospects of Raimi, the Avatar trailer and just a basic urge to go to a theatre after they had been closed for so long makes me wanna go. Theses reviews seem like people that are a part of a marvel sub reddit will enjoy it much more than a casual movie enjoyer. I’m fine with that! The hot takes and critiques in this thread are wild. I know this is r/movies but it’s a damn marvel movie at this point you know what you’re getting. If you don’t like that then don’t watch comic book movies.

I don’t think so. Decline from where? There were always well recieved movies(and now we have shang chi, batman and no way home) and not so well recieved movies (eternals, morbius, wonder woman 1984) which this is neither of anyways. This movie will still make a fuckton of money at the I Love My Country Up Loud Eagle America Flag Shirt Apart from…,I will love this box office. So unless they make less money than they used to(which is not happening) they are not declining in my perspective. Holy shit a lot of mcu dislike in this thread. Guessing it’s because the score isn’t 100% so certain negative types feel vindicated as if 84% isn’t good. I enjoy the mcu, I’m not so full of myself that I think fun interconnected movies are beneath compared to “real” movies or something, dr strange is the best mcucharacter, and I like that this and moon knight are going the darker route in their storytelling. That 84% score is quite tentative by the looks of things. Even the positive reviews are saying how messy the film is.
