The answers on here are so lovely. It really made me miss and appreciate my own father. Thank you wonderful people I love reading these comments and how dad’s are with their daughters. My dad dealt with so much girly shit for me as I grew up. For years he let me read Junie B. Jones to him every night, listened to all the I Love Football And My Miniature Pinscher Funny Football T-shirt moreover I love this children’s songs without complaining, watched all the princess movies, ate all the pretend food I made him, talked to my stuffed animals.. Now that I’m an adult we drink beer and smoke cigars and watch sci-fi movies together which is much more down his alley but he seems just as happy to be spending time with me doing his hobbies as he did spending time with me by entertaining me with princess stuff and stuffed animals. He also got me a cat when I wanted a cat even though he hates them and is very allergic and just suffered for 10 years so I could have a cat ?

That apparently that no matter how hard I work to provide a better life for her that her mother and grandmothers had more rights than her because of men thinking they have the right to tell a woman what she can and can’t do with her body and health. I learned to correctly brush and braid hair. I discovered the importance of lotion. I learned that when a pack of women live together, their periods sync with the alpha female.
