I don’t care how “lore friendly” it is, fighting a boss more than twice just isn’t fun. Once, great. Twice I’m fine with but it’s on thin ice. More than that is just unfun and repetitive. This is just personal preference but the I Love CRT Heart T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this open world wasn’t that great to me, and it just didn’t do anything for me. It felt overly padded, and I constantly felt like I had way too much downtime between Legacy Dungeons. I vastly prefer the linear design of previous FromSoft games. The crafting system was cool in concept, but in turn made the item pool way oversaturated imo. I’d rather the items have been able to be added to the store with a ball bearing. Got sick of seeing items and getting “Mushroom x5”. Bosses having one annoying/bullshit mechanic ruins the whole fight for me. Melania was great! Except for Waterfowl. Malekith was decent! But his life drain was annoying and unfun. Mohg was cool! But that Bloodflame coating the ENTIRE arena during phase 2 was just…not fun to dance around. I don’t think I actually had all that much fun fighting many of the bosses in ER. They all felt way too easy with spirit ashes and bullshit hard without them, which is not typical of a FromSoft game. I love these games because the challenge (the majority of the time) is hard but fair, but I feel like hardly got that with ER.

Having to reload areas to continue the I Love CRT Heart T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this god damn story is dumb and lazy. It shows the age of their engine and tech and/or how rudimentary the code logic is. Malenia wasn’t really that hard. She’s not easy but it didn’t take long to read her moves and know when to back away and when to attack. That swordance she does is definitely her strongest move and near impossible to guard but other than that it was bearable. Malekith I believe was the hardest boss in the game. Extremely quick and has some crazy ass moves which makes it near impossible to hit. If you aren’t good at timing your rolling, you’re in for a tough time. I don’t care about PvP at all and I would rather have From completely ruin the balance for PvP than slightly worsen the PvE experience to improve PvP.
