It’s so tiring. I just went through it. But after 6 months, I landed a great job!! So keep going. Take breaks, but keep going. Make sure you are applying for the I don’t need a license to carry my 9am sewing shirt Furthermore, I will do this right level of expertise. And use your connections, staffing agencies, etc. Took me almost five months to get a job. It was one of the hardest times in my life. This shit causes so much anxiety and depression. Couldn’t be around people because I felt “less than” while not having a job. To whoever is still looking, hang in there. It’ll happen. Looks like I might need to start practicing my ice hockey skills! Thanks for the tip, fellow graphic artist turned postman. Yes. I got fired from my job without warning for performance issues back in early March of this year. I took about two weeks to get some mental and physical rest. I started job searching in late March and still haven’t obtained a job offer yet. The process has been messy and frustrating. I have had recruiters reach out to me and never had any success in getting a job. I have a bachelor’s and associate’s degree with some experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, and one short term contract as a PC moving tech.

I keep seeing posts like this, and they always make hope we happen to be in the I don’t need a license to carry my 9am sewing shirt Furthermore, I will do this same town. Ill get you a job right now. Keep applying, and widen the area youre searching to different industries. You can always keep applying for your preferred industry while you pay the bills with warehouse work or whatever in the meantime Yes, I’m under qualified for the jobs I’ve been doing for the last two roles I’ve had and over qualified for the ones I used to do. I was medically separated from the military in October of 2008. It came unexpectedly and once the process started, it happened quickly. I was 21, a couple months from turning 22. I was married and had a child less than a year old. I panicked and moved in with my sister and her husband who lived in Jacksonville, FL. I was a diesel mechanic while in the military. I got out and immediately started trying to find work. It took 5-6 months of constant applications to finally land a job. I put in hundreds of job applications during this time. I interviewed for probably 5-10 of these with zero offers. The job I finally got was completely unrelated to anything I had ever done previously. I was working quality control at a food processing plant. Work was good, pay was atrocious. I ended up working there for about 8 months before picking up my family and moving back to NC where my wife’s family lived. I drove a taxi for several months while looking for stable work. I ended up finding work on the same military base I had just left as a contractor. I worked there for about two years before moving back to my hometown in TN. I’ve been at my current workplace since 2011.
