I’ve had a lot of blood tests and have even inserted dialysis needles myself so I am something of an expert. For bloodtests there is a range on the pain level from barely noticed to let’s call it S sized auch for lack of better way to describe it which varies based on the factors that for you are basically random, but nobody can actually promise you’ll luck into barely noticed experience. Also people just experience pain differently and have different tolerance for it. The pain if there is any happens when the needle punctures your skin. While the blood is flowing out it goes down and when the needle is taken out it might hurt again, but always less than at the start.

I have one kid that can keep calm through it and another that needed 3 people total to get it done because they are just that scared of needles. Your life overall will be so much easier in the long run if you can get yourself to the road of being someone who can at least keep still when it is done so it is a one person job. It does take bravery get your first blood test done, because you just don’t know how it will feel for before it is done. I don’t know how old you are, but I would recommend negotiating some kind of reward for the bravery from your parents. Not only because then you get the reward, but because in the moment thinking about the reward can help you deal with the situation and have something positive to look forward to while in the moment and just to focus on.
