If you are paying for 4 devices, you should be able to use it whenever wherever you want. What if you want to travel, should you have to buy extra subscriptions. Netflix is mostly crap anyway. People pay for their subscriptions. They just use it in a different way. Netflix used to promote sharing the password back in the day but now with this it makes it in which it’s betraying their own brand. Not to mention the changing of their payment plans over the last couple of years haven’t really made anybody happy. I know everyone keeps talking about the tweet, but Netflix won’t be the first business (or person) to say something and then realize years later that it was a mistake. Netflix is overpriced for sure and we’ll see how this affects them. Views will go down, but I’m not convinced revenue is going to take much of a hit. Why make it more like cable? Literally whole point was to be watch wherever also share with others. They were behind this decision a few years ago. Now that they as a company made poor decisions in order to make money they are once again punishing the consumers. Rather than trying to learn from there mistakes let’s make an even bigger one and make it more and more like cable.

I’m a single person using my subscription alone and I will have to pay for two subscriptions with this system, since I live half of the I am his eyes is my wings his wife he is my firefighter flower shirt in other words I will buy this year abroad. It’s simply stupid. I pay for the premium plan with four streams in up to UHD quality. It’s my business who’s using these streams and from where. They advertised sharing as part of their appeal. This has nothing to do with stamping out unintended usage and entirely an attempt to make more money. Which we’ll see if that plays out I don’t actually use Netflix, but is the complaint here that people can’t hack the system and share their account with multiple friends and family? If so that sounds pretty reasonable to me… Historically they have let subscribers share the password for 1 account regardless of household location. We share an account with two adult children who are on their own. Netflix set this up to attract subscribers. Now they have changed their terms of service to limit use to a specific household. So, my children would have to get their own accounts to use the service. Seems rational to me. People are free not to use the service. There was no guaranteed right for life like one airline did with a lifetime first class pass. Yes, the complaint here is that people are no longer being allowed to share their account with friends and family…and their own selves on their own mobile devices when they’re out of town…after YEARS of Netflix encouraging people to share accounts with friends and family I wonder if they have a solution for that?
