The middle area is where the mosh-pits usually open up. And while they can be fun, that may not be the experience you’re looking for. Also, concerts can get hot. Stay hydrated because you do not want to pass out! And on the topic of hydration, drinks will cost a fortune at concerts. Even a bottle of water can run you anywhere from $4-$10. And if you were lucky enough to get a spot up front, if you leave that spot to get a drink or to expel said drink from your bladder, don’t expect your spot to be open afterward. “Move your feet, lose your seat” is a very real thing at concerts. And if you’re gonna hit the merch booth, do it after the show. If you do it before you then have to spend the whole show holding onto whatever it is that you bought. Wear a bike helmet as you will be moshing in a pit with other head bangers. You will lkely get a concussion from it.

Wear comfortable shoes. Drink lots of water. Get there early if you want to get up front and not have to struggle for it If you want merch, get it EARLY. They had almost sold clean out by the time I made it to the front, and I had to settle for a plain text shirt 2 sizes too big for me. Was an amazing show, and I still have the shirt. Hydrate! If you’re hungry, treat yourself to a food, even if it’s overpriced, and do not be afraid to buy merch. Make sure you know how you’re getting home!! My first concert ever included Rammstein! It was the 1998 Family Values tour. Should be a great first concert. Nothing more I can add that others haven’t already said. Enjoy it!
