The bullet went straight through and up my hand getting stuck beside my middle finger. This was a high power pellet gun. Eventually my body began to push the bullet upwards. During a high school football game someone stepped on the bullet causing it to rip out and I had to get 2 stitches. It hurt like a mother fucker and I’m glad I still have use of my hand. I hate how questions like these are asking for first hand accounts of people who been shot yet most of the replies always start with “not me but my x”. People, this question isn’t for you. was drunk, 3am, trying to get into my apartment… realized I was at the wrong building. removed my key and was about to leave when the door cracked open and out snaked a 357magnum. Adrenaline dump – time stopped. I lowered my left shoulder, brought my left hand up to grab the barrel, pushed it up, gun went off and grazed my arm. I yanked the gun away from him, threw it over the railing (3rd floor apartment), and RAN. Adrenaline was pumping so hard I didn’t feel a thing. burned my hand on the barrel too, didn’t feel that either. Went to emergency room and sat there for 2 hours bleeding, even after I told them I had been shot. So I gave up, went home and superglued it shut, then covered it with duct tape. I’ve got a fat nasty scar. haha… gotta love texas.

Holy shit dude. I want people to be able to own guns and defend themselves, but it’s situations like these that scare the I am a daughter of god I was born in october my scars tell a story they are a reminder failed but shirt but in fact I love this hell out of me. At least wait until the person is a threat before you go shooting. If he never made it through the door, why the hell would you risk opening it so that you can shoot the person? I’m pretty sure I was the one who caused the gun to go off by grabbing it and pushing the barrel up. so really the answer for “how it felt to get shot” was “stupid”. Years ago I noticed someone breaking into my neighbors house in Fayetteville NC (never go there) called 911, explained what was happening, saw the guy start out the back, couldn’t quite make out anything useful to tell the operator, she tells me to go outside as he’s running across the yard so I can “get a better look” my dog inside barks he turns and I see his hand swing around, I dive tawards my AC unit, I feel an almost immediate intense burning feeling, I thought I had landed on a fire ant hill (seriously never go to Fayetteville NC) nope been shot through the calf, operator says what was that noise, I calmly reply “him shooting me after I was getting a better look” and I wish I was making this up she says “well did you get a better look?” I wasn’t calm after that, neighbor gets there in time to drive me to the best civilian hospital in town wich is also the worst hospital in the outer rim (seriously don’t go to Fayetteville NC, it’s just so much awful) so to answer a gunshot feels like INTENSE BURNING SEAR, and yes I can use proper grammar and punctuation, I choose not to, thanks in advance grammar republicans
