Idk how people do this, solving a skewb (what that cube is called) is so awkward. The turning is so uncomfortable The guy manning the stopwatch! His reaction is like: “Fck, bro I didn’t even start the clock, to…Fck bro I don’t know if I should punch you or clap for you!!!” I swore I saw this video before and it wasn’t a weird rubix cube like that, it was a normal one. Was this video modified for some reason? You probably just saw a different video, a lot of cubers use similar angles to film themselves. This is a Skewb, and it’s super weird.

Why is this clip only showing the one guy solving the puzzle? The original one I saw a week ago had two guys solving the puzzle almost just as quickly. It looked like about 3 turns to solve. Either a preset cube, or he got really lucky with how someone scrambled it. This is a competition where the cube is scrambled by judges. Scramble is randomly generated by a computer usually so its not a preset. He uses the examination time to determine his optimal number of moves and then executes. He definitly does more than 3 moves. The minimim numbers of moves needed according to WCA for competition is 7 to solve, as in it has to be scrambled so that ita physically impossible to sovle in less than 7 moves. He probably does 10-15 if I had to guess. Just as more info. In any configuration the skewb can be solved in at most 11 moves. So in theory he could solve this in 7-11 moves depending on the scramble and how efficient his solving method is.
