Outside area is pretty safe, plus I guess they need to make sure they don’t allow too many people in unnecessarily I have seen a person being denied entry at Goa Dabolim airport because they were very early. I think it’s normal to deny entry before 4 hours prior to departure for domestic flight. I was denied entry in Goa and in Kolkata and had to manage somehow. Blr airport has much better facilities outside the airport, compared to the other two.
My brother came back literally last week and he also wasn’t denied entry. He reached around 10 and had a fight around 4 which got delayed to 6. He stayed inside without any issues. You can try and convince them to let you in, no guarantee they’ll allow everytime. Thumbrule is 2hrs for domestic and 3hrs for international. I’ve both been allowed 6hrs prior (New year week – weekday, airport empty like a graveyard) and disallowed 3hrs prior on a different day (Dussera, a lot of movement, heavy crowds upto security). Hit and miss.

This has to be reported to ministry of aviation, write to them and trouble you have in airport and safety issues. They may consider such cases in future and train the crpf staff to teach the how to behalf with public, this military people absolute lack of sense and don’t even know to have manners I think they won’t allow for flights after 4-5 hours, but they confirm once are you sure you wanna go in? If you go in, you can’t come back out, stuff like that and let in. I once had a 12 hour layover and they let me in after asking so many questions. But considering it was 2 years back when airports were comparatively less crowded.
I was once denied entry within airport for connecting flight stating you came early lol. I told them it’s a connecting flight but they didn’t allow. I had to sit on arrival. Bangalore airport !! It might not be a written or well-known rule, but airports do restrict entry to passengers based on their flight time. What’s stopping someone from entering 24 hours before their flight? Airports have limited capacity, and they need to cater to passengers who have departures within a few hours of their entry. It happened to me in Delhi airport, I had a layover I think 8-9 hours. It was 10 am. They told me I can only enter before 2-3 hours. Edit: Airport team could have apologised now as you have raised a concern in twitter. But,in ideal cases entering terminal for a flight with scheduled departure more than 6 hours is never allowed. I used to regularly take a 5:30 AM flight out of Chennai. I’d always reach around midnight and was never denied entry. Once during a cyclone I reached 15 hours prior to departure and was denied entry, understandably so. Though the rule depends on the airport, CISF personnel at Delhi and Chennai airports have told me the earliest they can allow is 8 hours prior to departure. With everything becoming automated, security folks have lesser discretion. But if you request politely, most will try their best to help within their means. The ground floor and the sorrounding suburb and full of activity and kids are always playing around and having fun. The elevator system is fine and you don’t have to wait more then 5 mins to get home even during rush hour.

I don’t know this particular high rise but I’ve lived in similar high rise buildings in Taiwan and Singapore and some of them are very nice.
