My sister’s roommates and their parents also joined and bullied because the roommates were friends and kept trying to trick us into paying more rent for smaller room etc etc.. tbf, the roommates was Rajasthani not Delhiite. But the vibe in Delhi, I have never seen anywhere else, just inhumane and horrible. She clearly sounds like a narcissist. It’s a personality disorder. They are extremely sick in their head and survive on getting reactions out of people. Don’t give any reaction to them and watch them starve. Use earphones around them, speak very less, sound confident and smile more. Don’t ask them for proofs. Just don’t give a damn. They get scared when you do this and can see them for who they are. You’ll meet many such people in your life, because they’re everywhere, especially in India. So don’t take their comments personally, they do it to the best of us and they’re usually just telling what they’re guilty of doing themselves (lying, cheating, stealing is what most narcissists do). They can’t live with that heavy load of darkness inside them, so they project it on someone who seems like the best target.
