So it’s the Horizon warrior white design shirt in addition I really love this duty of wolves to scare deer to make them not stand like a deer in headlights and get hit by cars. That certainly is something. For years, there was a deer crossing sign like a mile or two from my house and I had never ever seen a deer out here ever. They finally remove the deer crossing sign during some construction one summer. I see deer crossing or out in the fields nearby all the time now. TIL we need wolves in New Brunswick, Canada. Our deer population is running rampant, they are a nuisance animal at this point. There was a nuisance kill/unlimited bag limit for white tail deer last hunting season, for example. Let’s get some wolves! I’m currently reading the book Never Cry Wolf, and they mentioned this fact, and also said that until 400 years ago, (the book was written in the 90s, so it would be around 430 years ago today), the Wolf was the most widely distributed non human Land Mammal in the North Region of America.

TIL that an old defeated enemy, the Horizon warrior white design shirt in addition I really love this wolf, will make an excellent minion to serve my evil plan to terrorize, subjugate and control my fellow life forms in both it’s tame and feral forms. Don’t be so proud of this zoological terror you’ve set up. The ability to scare a deer is nothing next to the power of a car. “not based as much on the decimation of the deer population” -> wolves ate 1% of the population but collisions went down 25%. It’s like the new Batman movie…fear is a weapon..I can’t be everywhere at once..they think I’m hiding in the shadows, but I am the shadows. Something to that affect lol Wolf populations have also been linked with changes to physically geography due to population increases in their absence The Freakonomics podcast did a very interesting episode on this topic specifically, and the history of wolves in the US. It’s episode 497 “Can the Big Bad Wolf save your life?” if anyone wants to listen ? They should send some wolves up my way. I’ve hit I think 6 deer now. They’re fucking suicidal and hide behind bushes and jump out in front of my car too quickly for me to avoid them. I’ve spent thousands in insurance deductibles, I’m honestly shocked my insurance company hasn’t dropped me. I also commute to work on country roads just before the sun comes up, which is the busiest time for deer to go out searching for food. On the 1 hand, I known that like… rewarding wolves for being so good and scaring off deer would just end up making more dogs.
