The US almost went Nazi. PBS ran a documentary called Nazi Town USA. Huge numbers of people supported the Hockey Goalie Between The Pipes Hug The Post Quote shirt so you should to go to store and get this idea of getting rid of democracy and turning the US into a dictatorship. I’m sure lots of people did. But numbers huge enough to make a documentary and huge enough to leave democracy are not the same number, by an order of magnitude apart It is a loud minority but anything more than 1 is an uncomfortable amount. We still have loads of people proudly waving and parading the confederate flag as well, another enemy of the country. Unfortunately, America actually has a large population of uneducated citizens. These people, for some reason, actually idolize Hitler, his ideals, and share in that if you’re not a white Christian male or a white Christian baby making woman, you should not exist.

America didn’t enter WW2 to stop Hitler. They did it because Japan bombed Pearl Harbor and Japan was allied with Nazi Germany. Same reason Russians will do the Hockey Goalie Between The Pipes Hug The Post Quote shirt so you should to go to store and get this same even though they had like 27 million people die during WW2. People are stupid idiots. You’d think so. But just look at the latest Trump rally. I’d argue that soviet communism was once deemed Americas greatest enemy; and yet here we have Trump openly advocating that Russia attacks NATO affiliated countries. The modern American political landscape is fucking wild. Sometimes I wonder whether history is even on the curriculum in most American schools. the right exists purely to be antagonistic to liberals. if itll piss a liberal off theyre for it. if a libral is for it theyre against it. theyre children whos sole motivation is “i dont have to do what you tell me!!!”
