That would make you a quitter. That would make you weak. Your mistakes are the focal point of every conversation. Even if you haven’t made any recently the ones from the past will be dragged back into it. You can’t use logic to explain yourself. If you have a point, if you are in the right then you are made out to be some kind of villain. And even then, that’s better than being in the wrong. If you are in the wrong then she has every right to berate you and make you feel like your entire existence is worthless.
