As a Canadian I find it hilarious that a group of 20 people can basically ban abortions for hundreds of millions of people overnight, but somehow banning guns is impossible. Crazy how a country built to allow a cabal of wealthy slave owners permanent rule over women and black people turned out like this lol, guess we’ll never know why What do you want us to do, set up a clinic in Austin with a Canadian flag on a tent? We’ll do it here for those that can make it. I’m not sure what else we can offer. Hopefully they don’t need medical intervention in a time sensitive and life threatening situation that requires an abortion The saving grace from inside Canada is that the Herbology plants shirt in contrast I will get this right wingers know how unpopular the abortion debate is. Even the most hardened anti abortion politicians won’t reopen the debate because they know it would LITERALLY be political suicide. I’m not too sure about that. Conservatives are probably salivating at this. They also want to repeal our healthcare system in favour of a US-styled one What’s going to stop them from wanting to ban pregnant women from crossing the border(it’ll be framed as “for their protection”)? What’s going to stop them from trying to prosecute and arrest a woman who managed to get over the border, have an abortion, and then come back? The logical question of how can you be tried in the US for doing something that wasn’t even on US soil. I’ve honestly just assumed the worst with Republicans at this point.

A while back the Herbology plants shirt in contrast I will get this US started saying that they would tax dual citizens working abroad. So if you were both a Canadian and American citizen and you lived and worked in Canada, you had to file and potentially pay taxes in the US, even though you might not have been there during the year. Loads of people gave up their US citizenship as a result. That’s just an example of the US not worrying about the itsy bitsy fact that something occurred outside of their country. They simply do not care. How would they know they’re pregnant? You don’t really show for the first 4 months or more.. Would all women crossing over have to pee on a stick? Also how would they even know what they did in Canada? They could just lie.. at this point that may be the only choice
