Bortz boutta do something really shitty, Blues fans will hate it like Wild fans hated this one, and we’ll all be able to agree the HentaI anime shirt and I will buy this DOPS shouldn’t even have let things get this way lmao i just imagine the equipment manager going down in the basement, grabbing a long black dust covered case before blowing it off and revealing a worn white and red Titan sick with hints of dried blood on it. I thought the checking stick would be more like baseball bat Homer made. Some gnarly looking thing made from an old tree. Idk, if I was an NHLer and some absolute psychopath jumped on the ice for warmies in the playoffs in the year of our lord 2022, with an old Titan or Sher-wood I would be visibly shook. Honestly, I’m going to bet the under and say that Berube tells the boys to absolutely not retaliate in any way that will draw potential suspensions and focus on winning. Buch wasn’t hurt. I bet they focus on the task at hand. If Buch had been hurt I think it’s more likely that the Blues retaliate. This seemed like the strategy last night. Blues kept their cool, Wild did not. You have the best special teams in the league, ours are trash. Blues look like they’ve been there before, we clearly haven’t. These idiots at the DOPS don’t give two flying fucks over intent. You could have the intent to murder someone, if they get up and skate away it’s only a $5k fine. It’s weird to me, because while the Clifford hit was objectively bad, it was still at least a hockey play. Guys make hits, especially in the playoffs, as often as possible. He fucked up and his someone from behind into the boards and got ejected.

But somehow something’s that’s not even remotely a hockey play gets the HentaI anime shirt and I will buy this DoPS to go lol, a few bucks outta teach this lesson. We know he wasn’t injured seriously enough to warrant leaving the game, but we have no way of knowing if he was injured or not. Yep. My thought would be if Buch were injured then he’s suspended for the rest of the series at the very least. But damn DoPS has got to set a precedent here. It’s not like this was a boneheaded reckless play. This was a flat out attempt to injure. Regardless of the severity of that intent they should at least be setting the precedent that if you pull stuff like this you’re going to sit for at least a couple games. Instead now the precedent is set that if you do something like this, don’t worry it’s only a fine, and if someone does this to you or a teammate you better take matters into your own hands because the league won’t do anything about it.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
