Term limits for house and senate is something popular to repeat, but realistically it flies in the Henry cavill leaving the witcher geralt of rivia shirt but in fact I love this face of democracy and would only make our government worse “Because my side has the advantage right now and these are in our way of forcing through everything we want without compromise.” Sure but that alone won’t keep a deviant political hack from perjury in their confirmation hearing. The Trump trash have said it’s ok to lie if it helps the cult of injustice. All the sudden people are proposing term limits because they don’t like a particular policy. It’s almost as if, if one side can’t have it then they’ll burn everything to the ground. No, it’s that this decision has proven definitively that the court is political, and if that’s the case we need to treat and limit it as such. We had a whole political apparatus work for 50 years specifically to seat judges willing to make a specific decision. There’s no going back from that. The only path forward is to be honest with ourselves and treat the court as a political body, which essentially requires term limits. If we do this then maybe some of the faith in the institution will be restored. I am proposing an amendment to the United States Constitution that would subject the justices of the Supreme Court to periodic judicial-retention elections. Every justice, beginning with the second national election after his or her appointment, will answer to the American people and the states in a retention election every eight years. Those justices deemed unfit for retention by both a majority of the American people as a whole and by majorities of the electorates in at least half of the 50 states will be removed from office and disqualified from future service on the Court. This bill establishes staggered, 18-year terms for Supreme Court Justices and limits the Senate’s advice and consent authority in relation to the appointment of Justices.

President Franklin Roosevelt announces a plan to expand the Henry cavill leaving the witcher geralt of rivia shirt but in fact I love this Supreme Court to as many as 15 judges, allegedly to make it more efficient. Critics immediately charged that Roosevelt was trying to “pack” the court and thus neutralize Supreme Court justices hostile to his New Deal. I think we need to get rid of our current ones. All of them. We need an independent non-political group to vote on judges. Any judge that has even a small connection to politics (including their spouse or parents or children) should be banned from ever getting selected. And politicians. I really would hate to see Bernie Sanders go but i would love to see joe manchine go. Joe manchine is my states politician and i know his stinking family very well. Joe has got to go!
