I personally felt that if a company isn’t paying their employees a thriving wage they should be fined more than they would if they were being taxed at the Heman charging into battle master of the universe design classic shirt and I love this appropriate rate. If you get a degree with debt in a non productive field, I don’t have much sympathy. If your field or trade is productive, but you can’t get work or a living wage then I am sympathetic. This isn’t about folks that can’t succeed, but those that won’t. How many have really looked at prices lately, 2019 Uncle Ben’s rice $1.71 this week it is $3.29, 8oz Yogurt 49 cents up to $1.29, Bacon $2.19 now $9.99 per pound 12 pack of soda $2.99 now $7.79, Costco ribeye $7.99 now $23.99.

I work at a prestigious college in Hampshire County , Mass. Single mother, 2 kids. I make $41K a year- the Heman charging into battle master of the universe design classic shirt and I love this lowest I have made in 25 years. The income qualifies me for food stamps. If I get their (usually very small) raise I will have to turn it down as it would be a hardship to lose my SNAP benefits. Yes, I am applying to other jobs. I have 20+ years of experience and a Master’s degree. Some of these faculty get 4X what I make- yet this college loves to position itself as a leader in equity (What a joke…). The funny thing is that most people working 40+ hours a week don’t get approved for food stamps without children. The government only sees income as qualification for food stamps if I make 1680 a month after taxes that’s to much income, however they won’t take into consideration that my rent is 12-1500 on top of my electric/gas/water, internet, cell phone bills. With the little money I do have left I will always pay for food however it’s usually not enough for a months worth, I will usually be eating rice and canned veg at the months end.
