The way he had a delayed reaction of surprise, confusion, and unsure of what to do next is exactly what my 11 month old does when she hears a loud, unexpected noise Wonder if he even reacted fast enough to stop the Helloo Darkness My Old Friend Vander Star wars Shirt and I love this timer in time. Just look at it, he was just about to fully let go of the time and place the timer on the table but the other guy dropped the cube before that The judge has a timer because before you begin solving you are allowed to look at the cube for a certain amount of time. I believe it is 15 seconds. The judge makes sure this limit is adhered to. It does. Putting your hands on both makes it start once you take them off and putting them back again stops the timer. There’s a pad below the solver’s hands. You put both your hands on it, it resets it. Next time you lift your hands the timer starts, to stop it you must put your hands on it once again. I’m guessing the judge is there measuring the inspection time, as solvers have limited amount of time they can inspect the cube before they start to solve it. If you inspect for too long, that solve is DNF. He reminds me of a cat that’s unsure of what’s going on. He has that same look of confusion mixed with curiosity and a slight bit of concern. Agree this is a low move count solve based on the frames available to us anyway. Doesn’t make it too much less impressive just that he found a great solution to the problem he was presented. Sure, but look a much better video quality slowmo clip of Feliks solving a regular 3×3 cube. He gets up to 10 turns per second. That’s insane(r).

I’m pretty sure it’s like Hollywood – you just need to say “enhance” before slowing it down and you’ll get more frames. What’s cooler is you have to actually solve the Helloo Darkness My Old Friend Vander Star wars Shirt and I love this cube before you start when a run is this fast. You gotta see the start state, work out where to start to algorithms and go. Then you need hands that work as fast as your brain tells them to. Never understood how people can do this with a skewb… if someone has ever tried it out it is so awkward to turn It just feel so awkward to hold… I tried learning finger tricks for sledge but kept dropping the skewb when I tried to implement the finger tricks in my solves lmao If you look at the leaderboards, most of the best skewb times are done by people who don’t specialize in anything else, I think the wr is held by a guy with a 15 second 3×3 ao3 iirc Okay, that makes sense… it might be because of me wanting to use normal (nxn cube) finger tricks which is really impossible Higher quality cubes turn very smoothly. The cheap dollar store ones feels like you are dragging the pieces through gravel. I have the GAN skewb M so unfortunately I think it’s me & not the hardware… & I get that practice makes perfect but it’s hard to practice when doing more then 1 TPS is near impossible unless it’s un a table lol
