Every status build up other than scarlet rot is underwhelming and doesn’t cause the Hat Creek California Est 1850 T-Shirt Also,I will get this sheer panic that it used to in previous souls games. Exploration stops being interesting pretty quickly. A lot of what you find is just watered-down versions of the main story content, and the rewards frequently aren’t worth it– 95% of the time it was crafting materials or something that was useless to my build. Finding another cave/catacombs, another dragon fight, or an NPC with a questline that I probably won’t complete was the opposite of rewarding. It felt discouraging, because it didn’t feel like I was actually accomplishing anything. There’s obviously some exceptions, but I don’t think there’s nearly enough interesting content to populate the size of the world (which is huge).

I stopped playing to play the Hat Creek California Est 1850 T-Shirt Also,I will get this Trails of Cold Steel games. Currently finished chapter 3 on game 3. It just doesn’t have a grab like any of the Souls games for me. I like how the actually unpopular opinions are being downvoted so hard. . .the point of this post is unpopular opinions. PVP is trash and should have just been left out since it’s clear it wasn’t a focus. The game isn’t well designed for solo players, with way many bosses using clear gimmicks that are clearly meant to be dealt with by 2 players or a spirit ash. The open world is worst part about the game and would greatly benefit from being 20-30% smaller/ more condensed. Story and lore was clearly an afterthought since half the stories still are incomplete, and also near impossible to complete without religiously using google. Bosses punishing item use and rolling isn’t “punishing” it’s just lazy artificial difficulty when they could just make the boss move set more interesting. The amount of copy-pasted “dungeons” around the map makes the world less interesting as after the 5th time seeing the same dungeon it kinda just feels more like a chore to clear it. Idk any one of those things.
