Also reminds me of the Happy 100th day of school teacher student 100 days earth T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this South Park episode about Scientology where they put in some flashing text saying “this is actually what Scientologists believe” because it sounded too made up to be believed. I agree! Thank you to OP and all the great commenters for the fascinating info! I’ve been reading this thread for like an hour now! My partner is Spanish so we spend a lot of time over there with her family. I lived and worked there for about a year too. I was amazed to discover that a lot of reality TV such as MasterChef or Operación Triunfo (similar to X factor) are so lengthy and almost unedited. They still have an episode a week like ours, but the show is 2, 3 sometimes 4 hours long. They go on for so long. Not only that, but they don’t come on until 10pm, and people stay up to watch the whole thing and still get up at 6/7 for work in the morning. Alot of Indian families, even if they work jobs paying modest salaries, brothers and sisters, their partners and kids, their parents, they all live together in big houses in affluent areas, splitting the cost of living immensely.

In India it’s considered extremely offensive to offer money with the Happy 100th day of school teacher student 100 days earth T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this left hand. In fact, offering anything with the left hand is considered egregious. Christianity is the most dominant religion in the West but it arose in the Middle East (thereby East). Islam is the most dominant religion in the East. In Calvinism, there are a set number of people who are unconditionally elected to go to heaven, regardless of what they do or don’t do in life. I went pretty deep down the Calvinism vs Lutheranism vs Arminianism rabbit hole in my religious days. It gets really weird. My best understanding is that they are all attempts to reconcile the following: The Christian God knows, and has always known, everything that will ever happen, including who goes to heaven or hell. So you get into this weird conundrum of, do humans have any say at all in whether they are “saved” or is that entirely up to God? Calvinism argues one of the most extreme mainstream predestination sides: God chooses who will be saved, and if you are chosen, that “saving grace” is irresistible; you will go to heaven. If you feel like there are some implicit contradictions that might arise from those two, welcome to Protestant theology 🙂 I think it’s more along the lines of being elected/predestined to do the right things or have the right relationship with God
