Decoration? Religious? I can’t imagine any combination of tattoos covering nearly the entire body that would advance any of those goals. The person described would have endured hours of pain and paid for very little. Before I thought it was badass, but I met a lot over the years when I moved to a new city. My friend has a few and used to be a tattoo artist. He hangs out at his former work most afternoons so sometimes I’m there too. The thing I can say about the people there is that they’re a bunch of hilarious nerds. Totally ruins the badass facade but fun people to hang out with. Followed by: also painful. I have 4 tattoos on my fingers and forearms and they were both expensive and painful. Can’t imagine getting my whole body done (I prefer having a few isolated tattoos so that they stand out more). The comments filled with judgements about tattooed people’s personalities really surprise me. I sincerely thought we were passed these ridiculous unfounded prejudices. I guess some people are too closed to look past their preconceived ideas. It’s okay to dislike something for sure. But to associate tattoos to people being very willing sexually or freaks or mentally ill (plus the undertone of that comment is super ableist and uneducated) is wild. I thought only people my grandma’s age thought like that and that it died with her generation. Well, it’s noted that it’s not.

Anyways, personally, I find it very physically attractive. I’d like to be that person one day actually. I only have one tattoo right now. However, being covered (not lityeraly every centimeter, but a lot of tattoos) except for the Happiness Is Watching Gun-smoke Over and Over Again Retro T-Shirt moreover I will buy this face would be my ideal. I don’t like seeing drugs/gang tattoos, but everything else is pretty interesting and unique. On some people it’s a turn on for me It depends on the tattoos and partly how they carry themselves.
