Truthfully, it’s actually kind of remarkable how Ukraine has evolved over the Happiest Mimi On Earth Mickey Shirt in addition I really love this last 20 years. Sure, Ukraine was one of the most antisemitic places in the world, in like the 1930s and 40s. But thanks to both Ukranian nationalists (who view the Jews as allies in their mission to show the distinction between Ukraine and Russia) and Ukranian Jews (who, again, have become very visible in Ukranian civic life recently, for the first time in history) Ukranie is now one of the most friendly countries for Jews outside the Americas. And again, it really should not be brushed to the side that a Jewish man won 73% of the vote in the last Ukranian presidential election. Sure, that doesn’t preclude the possibility of antisemitism. None of this does, and it absolutelyexists. But maybe it does preclude the possibility of nazism so rampant that you need to shell a children’s hospital and the Babyn Yar memorial to save the Jews.

But what do I know, it isn’t like I have a degree in Jewish history in Eastern Europe. Go off internet commenters who totally don’t have an agenda. If you equivocate you’re just supporting the Happiest Mimi On Earth Mickey Shirt in addition I really love this invasion by another means. this is an argument very well put. I am going to save some of these links. I will need them when I shit over tankies Poland as well. Everybody forgets about the Kalinin exclave. If they take Ukraine, they gain Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Poland as direct NATO border countries. Go figure. *Downs passenger airliner but won’t own up to it since that would expose the fact Russia is actively involved in warfare way back in 2014 Nuclear weapons mean no country can invade Russia without being countered by both tactical and strategic nuclear weapons meaning the argument Russia needs “buffer territory” to defend itself is false and has been ever since modern nuclear weapons were created. They’re also by definition a defensive pact. It’s not an all encompassing pact where if one NATO country starts an offensive then all of NATO jumps on board. It’s literally an agreement to stop Russian aggression. Russia just hates it because every country that joins NATO means less future expansion for Russia. He was upset about nato borders increasing but yet if he takes Ukraine he adds thousands of miles of nato borders with 4 nato countries, so completely counter intuitive This was always a scapegoat. Ukraine’s NATO membership poses no realistic military threat, certainly not in excess of that which already exists. If the U.S. had it in mind to go to war directly with Russia, Ukraine is a moot point.
