Honestly, most people are just so happy to have someone that’s really into them at all…that they’re going to forgive you a little extra belly fat. “Dad bod” to me though is a guy that’s clearly still taking basic care of himself…but probably feels like he’s a little old to be working out 4 hours a day and dieting for beach season. A normal looking dude with a bit of a belly. It’s not a guy that’s like 5’7″ and 400 lbs…that’s just being a slob. It’s not a “dad bod”…it’s a “get it together friend” bod. I am competitor in sports, so through my life i’ve been with lean and fit people. Yet there’s nothing like dad body for me lol. Yeah, I’m gay and recently lost a bunch of weight (225 to 170) and am getting turned away by guys who want a thick man. If you’re chunky and hairy, you’ll have a lot of guys up in your grill. Personally I am not. The last guy I dated had a dad bod, and it was definitely a turn off for me, but I loved him so I didn’t care. For example, I think David Harbour pre weight loss (his first few seasons on stranger things) is a dad bod for me so like definitely on the Hand Grinch Softball ball Snows Xmas shirt in addition I really love this overweight side although it’s obvious he still takes care of himself.
