Yeah I still use mine to spread my foundation but then I press it in with a brush or fingers. I only use it when I’m doing a full face though. I have a flat silicone ‘sponge’ that I use to spread the Hala Madrid soccer shirt Furthermore, I will do this foundation all over my face, then I use a flat blending sponge to blend it all out. Saves me a lot of foundation, almost doubled the time I get out of one bottle! Real techniques makes some, but as long as it’s a relatively flat teardrop shape of jelly silicone, I just look on amazon for the cheapest option! I recently bought the new Tula radiant skin serum, which is VERY expensive for me, and I dug out my old silicone sponge to use with it! I really like that it allows me to use very little product – it’s not full coverage, but that product isn’t full coverage anyways, and I don’t think it could be, even with a lot of layering.

I have been using SKII serum for a long time. But I think it’s a little cumbersome for me to use skin care products this way. I apply skin-care products on my face with my fingers directly. Love mine for doing SFX work with latex, prosaide and building wax. Absolutely hated it for regular foundation. I bought one that had ridges in it like a fingerprint. The product i was applying didn’t go on smoothly with this silicone thing, so I just went back to foam applicator, brushes and my fingers. Welcome to r/Makeup, Both_Dragonfruit_989!
